The problem

A site you cannot open is not really yours

Eight years of patches leave a site that belongs to whoever last touched it. Plugins nobody remembers installing. A theme two major versions behind and no longer updateable. An admin login that goes to a developer who has stopped answering email.

The trap is quiet: because every small edit needs a quote, small edits stop happening. Prices go stale, the team page lists someone who left, and the site slowly stops describing the business it belongs to.

    Pages with traffic or a job get rebuilt on the new platform. The rest get archived, and you get the list so the decision is yours rather than ours.

    Domain, hosting and admin in your name, with a written guide to editing the pages you will actually want to change.

Re-rooting moves and rebuilds what you already have. New material and ongoing work are separate, and we would rather say that now.
